We founded Artemis Animalia as a way to share our love of wildlife.  We love all creatures great and small but only keep the small ones in captivity.  We also keep a number of plants and who knows what else will turn up down the road.  We mostly sell the fruits of our captive breeding and plant propagation efforts.    We encourage our customers to try their own hand at breeding and propagation as well and are happy to answer any questions you may have based on our own experiences.  Inventory is always limited, so buy while you can.

OUR STORE POLICIES

All Sales will be directed through the website in order to to streamline the shipping process.

Terms of Service (TOS)
United States Sales only.  Minimum order is $50 (not including shipping costs). Shipping costs will be added at the time of checkout.  You must be 18 years old or have the consent of your parent or guardian.  By checking out on this website, you are agreeing to these Terms of Service.  


Shipping policy

Delivery address – If you are using a Fedex Shipping Center for your delivery, use that address as the delivery address. Animals must be shipped with the overnight option for the Live Arrival Guarantee (LAG).  Plants may use the slower USPS option for LAG. 

Live Arrival Guarantee (LAG)
I am not responsible for carrier delay/error. This will violate my TOS for LAG.  If you request specific special needs for the package, want me to ship in weather I deem unsuitable, or the carrier does not deliver at/before the estimated time/day of arrival, LAG will be null and void.  Also, if the carrier severely damages the package in transit, the LAG will be voided.  LAG is for animal only. Shipping costs will not be reimbursed.

Dead On Arrival (DOA) policy
For DOA, the following criteria must be met: you must contact me within 1 hour.  I do not automatically ship with a signature requirement and so deliver time is the time that the carrier (usually FedEx) leaves it at your chosen shipping destination. If you request that I ship with a signature release, you must have signed for the package at first delivery attempt. You must keep all the packing materials and contents in case I need verification for potential foul play, and I require picture verification of the dead organism (example: plant/animal) and potentially might request images of the living organisms as well. Once all conditions are met I will refund or attempt to replace the lost individual(s). I will package all plants and animals such that they can tolerate the normal tumult of shipping.


Refund or Replacement Policy
If all of the requirements for a dead specimen are met, I will offer a refund or replacement for the animal that both parties can agree upon. Shipping costs are not refundable and if a replacement is sent, you (the buyer) are responsible for shipping costs of the replacement.

 I reserve the right to refuse to do business or communicate with anyone at my discretion.
